Amy Diller
Director of Children’s Ministry
Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility.
–Kate Douglas Wiggin
Amy Diller joined the ministry staff at Colonial Woods in August of 2011. She and her husband, Jason, have been married since 1995, and have two daughters, Abbey and Sophie. Both born and raised in the Port Huron area, Amy and Jason became friends while in youth group at Life of Faith Fellowship and were actively involved there for many years before making Colonial Woods their home church in 2006.
Amy graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She returned to U of M for graduate studies and earned a Master of Arts degree in Literacy with certification as a Reading Specialist in 2005. Amy is currently working on a Master of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. As a public school teacher for over ten years, she enjoyed sharing her love for learning with children from preschool through fifth grade.
Amy believes that investing into the lives of children is a calling of tremendous responsibility and one of the greatest privileges and most exciting adventures in this life. The Lord has placed a passion in her heart to see children nurtured in all areas: spiritually, emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically. Amy looks forward with anticipation to following the Lord's direction as He guides Anchor Children's Ministry in blessing the lives of children and their families at Colonial Woods and throughout the community.
