 David BlackSenior High Youth Pastor David joined the Colonial Woods staff in August 2005 and is the Senior High Youth Pastor. He graduated from Briercrest Bible College in 1996 with a Bachelors of Arts in Intercultural Studies. David came to us from Austria where he was working with Operation Mobilization and was the Short-Term Missions Coordinator for Central/Eastern Europe since 2003. He had been with Operation Mobilization since 1991. David was also the Youth Pastor at Zion Evangelical Missionary Church in Didsbury, Alberta from 1996-2000. God confirmed in his & his wife's, Sally's, heart that ministering in a local church and community is where they can best serve God. His desire is to serve as a youth pastor in a church where he can use his gifts and talents in evangelism and discipleship. His passion is for youth and their families to be remarkable families of faith that impact our world. David and Sally were married in 1995. They have three daughters, Amelia, Kyla, and Sarah. David's love for life makes everything a hobby, but a few of his favourites are: camping, fishing, hockey, travelling, hiking, and biking. » Visit the Sr. Hi Page
