Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food works through churches and community organizations in over 35 states. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia. By the end of 2006, over 500,000 families have been fed. The program delivers high quality fresh and frozen food for nearly half the cost of a grocery store and is open for anyone to participate (no financial requirements are needed) for $30.00. The food items are top quality – Angel Food buys their food from major food producers throughout the country to ensure the best food comes to your table.
