About Us
We believe that Problems and Conflicts are normal. Resolving the problems and conflicts we all experience is a necessary first step in achieving a state of abundant living. Sometimes, people are so emotionally distraught or close to their problems that resolving them seems impossible. A professional counselor can help. Resolving them isn't easy.There are no pat answers or ready-made decisions handed out at the Center. Rather, our goal is to provide a place where an individual can discover strengths and answers through interaction with a counselor. Within a comfortable, undemanding setting, a plan is worked out to address your concerns. Our counseling center combines professional counseling with reasonable fees, while the spiritual dimension of a person who seeks professional help in meeting his or her problems is recognized. The Center came into existence in January 1983, when Colonial Woods Missionary Church responded to the need for such a community service. It is dedicated to the purpose of providing a counseling program that is both Christ-centered and professional. The CostWith the need to cover our expenses as a non-profit service, counseling fees are set at a modest rate. It is expected that fees will be paid at the time of each appointment. Many insurance companies cover some cost of counseling. Be sure to give your insurance information at the time of intake. The members of our professional staff are ready to begin serving your counseling needs. Our services are available to all persons seeking wholeness, growth, or conflict resolution.
