Making an appointment Counseling sessions are by appointment during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, except Wednesday until 5:00 p.m.). If you wish to make an appointment for counseling, call the Center at 810-984-5575. Our receptionist will make arrangements with you for your initial interview. In a crisis situation, an initial interview can usually be arranged within 24 hours after contacting the Center. Your initial interviewAt the initial interview, you will be able to talk about your concerns and receive information about counseling. A counseling session usually lasts 45 minutes. In addition to helping you focus your concerns for ongoing counseling, the counselor will gather background information and discuss the next steps with you.
