"...You are the light of the world..."

Matthew 5:14

Have you ever noticed how once you are in the dark your eyes adjust so quickly? You aren't even aware that it's happening.

Jesus tells his people that we are to be the light of the world. To carryHis light into everyday life. In a culture where darkness is what the world's eyes have adjusted to, we are meant to be something different.

This year we want to illuminate our homes, our schools, our city, even our world with the light of Jesus Christ. We want to chase away the darkness that we and the world have become so accustomed to.

We want to illuminate.
